I have entrusted Gabriel Manors with my sisters care and am very satisfied so far.. This is her 3rd facility and by far the best. The staff that I have interacted with are awesome, kind and caring. My sister seems to be quite comfortable there.. Since my last review approximately 6 months or more my feelings have changed drastically. I have spoke with Angela the administrator I believe and I am not sure if there will be a resolve. I''m not sure if it will be a resolve because once she leaves she has no control. I am concerned not only for my sister but other residence. I''ve come to the realization those residence are not getting the care they deserve. My sister is under Medicaid assistance with her social security for payment but that should not matter for the quality of care. I have spoke with Medicaid about my concerns and will stay on top of this for all the residence concern.

I have worked here at Gabriel Manor since 2019, I started as the Activities Assistant and now I am the business office manager. I have loved coming to work everyday, spending time with the residents is definitely the highlight of my day. Our standard''s and expectations are high with the care of our residents as we care and love them as family. I truly would never be employed by a place that I did not believe in. Our Management here is very supportive and always positive. We have monthly training to support our staff along with classes the staff take daily to educate and enhance the care that we provide for our residence. I have great relationships with the family members here of their loved ones and have always felt grateful I work at a facility I know has always had the goal of helping our residents live out the rest of their lives the best way possible with love and respect and care from all of us.

Seeing alot of residents with wet pants, rubbing meatballs in their hair and the staff saying idgaf, and the next 2 days still has meat sauce in their hair, being very forceful making them sit and pulling them around and they can barely catch their footing, pretty much dragging them through the dinning room to get them out of there and picking and poking at the residents until they get mad and lash out, not caring about their hygiene, leaving them covered in food for the night and returning the next day wearing the same thing, residents hitting and hurting eachother and saying they fell, which is a lie, black eyes and all, I wouldn''t recommend putting any loves one in this facility period. They act all sweet and loving when your taking a tour of the place, but they don''t care, coming from an ex-employee, trust me I''ve seen it, this is all an act and it''s a show, residents in there smell of urine and feces so bad sometimes, and the employees are just on their phones, saying "it ain''t my problem " one lady bound to a wheelchair is always soaked in pee, to where it drips down the wheels, and it''s just so sad, all the employees do is talk about all the residents and how they dont care, and how they just are ready to go home, how it''s a crazy house and telling the residents they''re going to die here, one lady was beat so bad in the face by one of the other residents her whole face and neck was black and swollen and they said she fell, when I heard them asking her how many times he hit her....I knew she didn''t fall, and it''s so sad how they try to cover things up.. the management, specially the kitchen manager is so rude and talks to their employees like dogs, name calling, fat, useless, and just being very degrading, its so pathetic when she''s useless herself Please do your self a favor and don''t waste ur time here, ive seen residents fall and smash their head on the hard floor and they didn''t report it or even care. Beyond glad I quit, I couldn''t take the stress anymore, I pray for these people. ❤️
Read moreGabriel Manor was an awesome community. The facility was very clean and diverse. The only con is that my mom can't afford it. I saw the main area and the kitchen. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. I think they have a board with the activity calendar.
What we like the most about Gabriel Manor is the wide varity of activities. How the staff keeps a close look out for new arrivals and comforts us adjusting to the disease. They have excellent dining, great appearance of facility. and it always smells clean.
Gabriel Manor was a great place and I had a great tour of it. The staff was knowledgeable. The rooms were very nice. The dining area was very nice, but I wasn't able to try their food. The outdoor areas were well-kept.
