Some of the staff lack follow up. Do not resolve concerns, basically pass the buck.

My husband had a stroke and needed rehab. Julie the rehab director was very nice. She made sure my husband was able to eat. Because of his stroke he suffered from being able to swallow food. Then Patrick the dietician was also helpful with making sure my husband was on the correct diet and also taking an extra step to help him select his food choices for the week. I thank all the staff that made this transition easy for us. This is our first time in a place like this and we did not know what to expect. It''s hard to depend on people when you have been independent all your life. We are so grateful and appreciate future care for making this easy for us.Also the Social worker Cherie was helpful with making sure I had all her information to call her with any questions. Thanks again

This Sunday evening Psalm Sunday 2nd floor on the 3-11 my sister and I were treated with disrespect and so bad not speaking of the care my mother received yet. The gna and cna were absolutely wonderful and sweet Kashya was so amazing. I being my mother''s caretaker at home did not mind assisting her with cleaning my mother up and then we noticed she needed wound bandages changed 3 stage 3wounds. I asked her to get the nurse and she returned sad as if she was disregarded. So being a paying patient I felt truly disrespected and undermined by the nurses like we were garbage. I went to the desk to try and get help for my mother who was laying there naked and wounds exposed because we needed medical help and was given attitude by the nurse sitting at the desk with the gold hair and I even said "oh you''re treating me like I''m bothering you",she was mean!So I went to a Nurse Oliver who had to be asked 4 times to help us RidiculouS!!! and I even bought the soiled bandages out to her. I explained i am paying over 3000 for my mother to be here "Not FREE" because she needs help and you wouldn''t want anyone to treat your mother like this tearfully. On the weekends their needs to be a supervisor there someone with people skills. The gnas and cnas are always sooo sweet but some of those nurses on the 2nd floor are evil and all they must think about is their check and not the patients. I am disappointed that I had to write this and plan to look into other options. Captain Donnetta Roy State of MD Law Enforcement Supervisor
