We went to Elevated Estates Forest Oaks and looked at it because I know people who've had family members there and so forth. The person we spoke with was very helpful. The place was nice. Not as nice as the previous one, but it's very clean, welcoming, and homey. It has a central big common area and the rooms were off of it. No smells or anything. Their activity schedule looked nice. They had nice printed activities.
Read moreMy mother receives excellent care and services from everyone at Forest Oaks. She is very happy there and she knows the staff have her best interests. I'm so lucky that Forest oaks is a Great Facility for her and us. I trust them completely.
Our uncle has been very happy with his experience as have we. They have taken very good care of him and gone above and beyond to ensure he has what he needs. They are also very available for questions or family needs as well.
Area of improvement - tendency to be manipulative for business purposes. For me I owned my own business. But a little more open with information would be helpful. They want everything their way.

My mom shares a room with another resident, but it's always clean. Housekeeping is always done. It looks like they're in there daily. The staff is top-notch. No problems with any of that. As far as the medical staff, it's good to go, and as far as the housekeeping staff, it's good to go. I know they do a lot of creative activities, but I'm not sure what they offer. They have a library. They can check out any books that they want. As far as the cafeteria, it's good. It's always clean and upkept. My mom doesn't complain about the cooking; the food is pretty good.

This facility has been so disappointing, the director has been rude to a dear friend who has been helping me with my mom. Now she is so hurt she feels she can not go back to see my mom. My mom is 101 years old, I'm 80, disabled an can not do a lot for mom, Mom is blind and deaf has a walker needs a lot of help. This friend is so hurt that she is crying. The food at this facility is horrible, one aid in particular seems to be a trouble maker and should be replaced. I had so much hope with this place , such a disappointment.
