I toured Holiday Echo Ridge. It was a nice place. The experience was very good and very helpful. They gave me a good tour and all the amenities that go with it. The community was very nice and very clean. The staff was very helpful. The dining area was very well set up.
Very short staffing is causing a multitude of deficiencies. The location is ideal and the units are quiet. The staff is very friendly, they take the time to get to know their residents and what they like and don't like or what to look out for if something doesn't seem "right". They also keep in contact with family or emergency contacts of their residents to let them know if their loved one has had an issue or has been sent to the hospital. The housekeeping is wonderful. They come in once a week or every other week and they do light cleaning, which has been a lifesaver for my dad. It has helped out with the basic things that he has a hard time doing. The meals are very good. I have had the pleasure of eating with my dad and the food is very delicious and there are plenty of options available throughout each meal. I would recommend this facility to anyone that is looking for a safe place for their loved one that is not quite at the place or need for a nursing home but they can't maintain a home/house on their own. I only wish the cost was a little less, but it is manageable.

My sibling is a resident at Holiday Echo Ridge. Moving into this situation is hard for an independent person. Facilities are going to have people at different stages in their lives and that sometimes can be an issue. Echo Ridge is an example of the different levels of care needed. It is an adjustment for the person that needs less care. The staff is excellent and friendly and they work hard at making people's experiences good. The food is acceptable, but not exciting. We would recommend Echo Ridge for a person that needs this sort of environment.
