The Move-in Coordinator Joshua was very helpful in explaining things. Gave a very nice and informative tour. I happened to be there right before lunch and left after lunch had started. The dining room was essentially full and it looked like a bunch of happy and energetic folks eating lunch. The rooms were very nice and the activities areas looked in very good condition and several of them had people interacting within them. I checked Arbor Terrace out because a friend''s mother had stayed there for several years about 5+ years ago and he spoke very highly of them.

We had to change facilities for my wife in the past year and are very happy with our choice of Arbor Terrace. I cannot say enough about the excellent care she receives. I also would like to compliment everyone for the welcome I receive from the desk at the entrance until the end of my visit.

I'll start with a caveat based on some of the other reviews complaining of meals served on disposable plates, etc. Because facilities like this are required by law to take more precautions than most of us during the pandemic & due to staffing shortages that every single industry is facing, you are not going to find ANY assisted living able to serve restaurant presentation type meals on fancy fine dinnerware right now. I've been in healthcare 30 years myself & have never seen more challenges in the industry. Please be gracious.... I would highly recommended Arbor Terrace. I only wish we had known about Arbor earlier. It was hard for Dad to leave his beautiful home - but there was just no way he could navigate the stairs and stay there alone anymore. But not only does he have a beautiful comfortable apartment there, I feel like we have both gained more family members in the beautiful community provided by the Arbor Terrace team. It's not just a place for Dad, it is home & family.

While they have MANY good people working there, who really care about the residents, we were “lied to” and had to move my Mom. I’m sharing this in hopes of preventing others from having to go through the same pains and hassle. Their food and food service was very substandard, which was a BIG misrepresentation, during their sales pitch. Much of it canned and always served on styrofoam with plastic utensils. Their sign in/accountability system is cumbersome and inefficient. And most importantly, they couldn’t seem to pay close enough attention in administering my Mom’s many medicines and because of that, the meds most likely were frequently not working properly. Don’t make the same mistake we made. Look around. There ARE better places in the area.
