My brother more than 10 lbs underweight when admitted, has lost weight while there. Breakfast: one eggo and peaches. Lunch: a tablespoon of Mac n cheese and 1/2 cup of salad (lettuce only). Dinner: small scoop of tuna salad, 1 slice bread, cold fries.
You must show your vac card before you are allowed in or be tested on site. It was neither the best or worst I''ve seen as far as nursing homes go. That''s about all I can say. Most of the staff were friendly but seemed to be neglectful to patients.

Double tree nurses and staff are under trained. Laking comunication skills on what goes on with the shift just before there shift starts. I personally experienced two bad situation while staying at the facility on 24th St in Sacramento. 1 of the head nurse opening my certified mail. Second again head nurses having me meet with them on an issue in a shared room and I was left sitting waiting for the head nurse never returning to the room. This was very disrespectful and rude. Approx. 80& of the staff are rude. This is a place I would never suggest anyone leaving there loved ones here. The head nurse is the 2nd situation is Head Nurse KARIN

We saw our mother/MIL after almost a year and it was such a relief to see she was taken well care of especially by the vibrant caretaker Reshmi. I can’t say that our experiences have always been great with Double Tree but I can surely see the improvements. I wish they could return calls more promptly too. We leave our loved ones there because we don’t have a choice, not because we want to and we would like to believe that the staff are well trained, well paid and are compassionate towards our loved ones. My husband has been disappointed with the attitude of some receptionists there but all said and done our complaints are heard and we do get a call to say that our grievances will be looked into. Thank you Reshmi and the other staff members for making a difference to our family.
