My mother has been at Deane Hill Place for three years and the quality of service has gone down consistently. There is constant turnover of staff, especially the director. The food is an ongoing issue. There have been several meetings where residents are asked to voice their concerns and food is discussed every time, but no changes are made. Residents order their food each day, but often do not receive what they order. Condiments, dressings, etc. are often not provided. Food is consistently late, often up to an hour late. Residents are not informed the food will be late, so they are all sitting in the dining room waiting on many occasions. My mother is considering moving, but she has friends there and so it is a difficult decision for her.

My mother has moved into Deane Hill Place. It's a small community. It has about six buildings and it has several levels of care. If they happen to progress in their illness, they can move them into different levels of care as needed when they get older. And the amenities are very nice. They have good food and wonderful staff that are very friendly and very helpful to the residents that live there. They have their own rooms, and they bring their own furniture, and that makes it feel more like home. They have several different options for rooms. My mother has a studio. They have some exercise activities that they can do. They have walks that they do. They take them out for shopping from time to time. They have get-togethers like luaus and barbecues. They do all sorts of things to keep them busy and happy. There are courtyards in each of the buildings. There's also a beauty salon in each of the buildings. There are different libraries in each of the buildings as well.

Dean Hill Place is probably the most caring facility I've encountered. They provide personalized care to their residents. Dean Hill Place is probably the most caring facility I've encountered. They provide personalized care to their residents. When I was there visiting, I saw multiple people coming in to check on my mom every couple of hours. Whereas where she came from before, there were fewer people checking on her less often. If I needed care myself, this is where I would want to place myself.

I hated my experience with Dean Hill Place. They need to improve on, communication, service, an dthe employee retention was bad. The culture was bad. Clean enough facilities.
