I was looking for a new senior living to moved my sister in-law. Cypress Place was the first place that I went to. I can’t explain what I felt when I got there for the first time… in my heart I knew this was the right place for her. However I visited few more places around the area just to make sure I was choosing the best new home for her, but nothing felt right, only Cypress Place. I finally moved her over month ago into a very spacious studio with a great view to the gardens. Cypress Place is tastefully decorated, it has beautifully courtyard, smells clean, the staff and management are kind, friendly and professional. Lily and her team are extremely caring, warmhearted and efficient. Arlene and Claudia in the front desk are always very welcoming and pleasant. Whitney and Gina helped make the transition for my sister in-law so easy. I am so happy that she is here! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

One of the nastiest kitchens I have ever had the misfortune to work in. I was told they cannot afford to fix their floors in nearly 20 years. The workers that can tolerate these unsanitary conditions are as negligent as the management. Do not let your loved ones pay for blackmold and septic bacteria in their food. Edited: In response; Doubtful.
Read moreI toured Cypress Place and it was a good tour. The staff and overall friendliness was very good. The cleanliness was very good, also. Ultimately, we decided on another facility in the area.

If your parent has more of their faculties, I think this could be a great place. It is full of activities and vibrancy. It's a very social environment. But if your parent is in the advanced stages of dementia like mine was, I'm not sure this is the place for them. I think my father could have been redirected in better ways, and I'm not sure their staff was prepared for or capable of handling him in the best way. There were also some issues with billing, and we were only there for a month. We were overbilled, and it took quite a while to get a refund.

We chose Cypress Place because it was closest to my home and also it had more of a homey cozy feel to it as opposed to feeling like a hotel or cruise ship. It just fit his personality the best. They do have a system where you have to talk to someone at the front desk to get buzzed into the memory care area, so quite often you have to wait. Breakfast and lunch are terrific, but dinner sometimes has not been so great. The staff have all been wonderful. I would definitely recommend this facility to others who are looking.

I'm fairly satisfied with it. I think the staff are very nice. The room is not as clean as often as I would like, but they come in once a week. I think twice a week would be better. But overall it's a clean facility. For the people who are able to get up and about, it seems like a nice place. They take them out to dinner and other places like that. And the cost seems in line with other places we looked at.
