I really liked the Overture Fairview 55+ Apartment Homes. It's a newer facility. They're all apartments. There are no cottages and they don't provide meals. It was all independent living. There's no step up to assisted living there or whatever and that could be a downside for me, but overall, I liked that facility and the staff was great. It's very modern and I liked the location a little better because it's right by a mall that is easily accessible by foot with lots of restaurants and things and I live close to that currently. I've looked at it twice in the last four years and I'm always impressed with it. They have card playing, swimming, aerobics going on, and movies in the movie room. They have the covered garages and like everywhere else, you pay extra. The apartments have a little better size. They were larger for the same money and they have a great layout.

The residents of Overture Fairview 55+ Apartment Homes were super friendly. What I did not like about that place was the hallways were dark and kind of dreary, and the person who took us for the tour was more worried about what was going on on her phone than giving us a tour. So, we decided that's not the place to live. We had a full tour and looked at the apartments. We saw the coffee area, the workout area, and the pool. The layout just did not work for my mom's furniture, but the upkeep of the place was nice.

Overture Fairview 55+ Apartment Homes looks nice. It's a little dark on the inside. The road noise from the highway was overbearing. Like if you opened a window in a room or the apartment, all you could hear was road-noise, you couldn't hear anything else, and that just kind of killed the whole site for us. The person who gave us the tour, her name was Mia, and she was nice. The apartment was nice and bright, but the road noise was just too much. They have activities, but I couldn't tell what they are. Their dining areas were very nice and well-appointed. They had an awesome gas stove in there. The facilities were nice.

I went to Overture Fairview. It's too expensive. They want more for a 1-bedroom apartment than just get a regular apartment. If I don't have to include the cost, I would give it a 5, but if I include the cost, I would give it a 1. It was a nice apartment but it wasn't worth the money ...
I went to Overture Fairview. It's too expensive. They want more for a 1-bedroom apartment than just get a regular apartment. If I don't have to include the cost, I would give it a 5, but if I include the cost, I would give it a 1. It was a nice apartment but it wasn't worth the money that they were asking. The staff were very nice, but the cost was just ridiculous. The apartments were beautiful, but they were no different than any other apartment. The only difference is that they have all these amenities that were very nice, like karate classes, yoga classes, and breakfast. That was nice because it's a little community town all in one building. The lady was nice. Even some of the people that live there, they came out, they greeted me, they were excited and everything, but I was just like, if I moved there, I wouldn't be able to make my car payment or do anything extra in life, it would just be living. I was thinking, being that I was at that age and they said 55 and older, that it would be a little less expensive, I was just really disappointed.
