My father is at Country Gardens Lanier. It is pretty basic in that they do not have enough help. One of the problems is that they do not have enough help for the number of residents they have. If it is an elderly person that is going to need a lot of care, that's not where they need to go. They have very little staff to help with problems like that. They don't have enough people to help keep the place maintained. It's just a very basic bare bones, "here's the bed" and that's it type of place. The staff that they have are wonderful. They have a wonderful staff. My father's is a studio set up. It's just one big room with a bed and it has a bathroom and that's it. I think they have that floor plan and the same size with two beds. With regards to activities they just have board games. They have common areas, and they have places to walk, that kind of thing.

Our family member is so well taken care of. Her room is always clean and she is always clean and dressed well. The activities director makes sure there are regular opportunities to bring more smiles to the residents and make more memories. And the food is terrific. The chef makes homemade recipes. Great place for family❤️

My father and mother both live at Country Gardens. I believe the caretakers are genuinely concerned about the folks who live there. The caretakers know each person on a personal level, and the environment feels like home ! I know that this time of Covid has been very stressful for everyone. When Country Gardens had to respond with a time of quarantine, I felt confident that my parents were getting the best care possible. My Dad told me there were multiple visits by the staff throughout each day. I am thankful for the loving care that each person receives by the patient and loving people who work there.

The caregivers at Country Gardens make personal service and care a top priority for the residents. The rocking chairs on the lovely front porch welcome folks as they arrive. The pretty living space is a nice place to gather, especially in the cooler months when there is a cheery fire in the fireplace! Residents gather in the cozy den to watch TV on the big screen, or sometimes they spend time in the den to enjoy the quiet with a book or puzzle. Animals are welcome, and it is not unusual to greet little furry friends, which is always nice! Country Gardens also has parakeets and a large aquarium for animal lovers. There are raised garden beds for anyone who has a green thumb. I have personally enjoyed some delicious vegetables from the garden! These are examples of what makes Country Gardens a unique, comfortable home environment for your loved one.

I do know they take good care of people, and my loved one has dementia. It seems like they watch after them really good. When I go in there, everything's always been clean. The care is pretty good, but I think they could use more people. The staff are always running around doing stuff. The food's pretty good. It has good flavor. The meal I tried was chicken and rice, mixed vegetables, and chocolate cake, with sweet tea. With Covid, there weren't really activities for a while. But they got a new activities director, and she always has something going on for the residents - playing games, holiday celebrations. At Easter, there was fruit and a little buffet for the residents, with games and prizes. Everybody got a stuffed bunny. The activities director brought in watermelons the other day and cut them up, and everyone was loving it. They have a happy hour - she'll take fruit with sparkling grape juice and make them a drink. They've been really happy with it. Before, they used to give them wine, but she's trying to get away from that. She's also planted them a little garden that the residents can help tend if they want to. There's a new director as well, but it's been a positive change. They've done a lot more stuff, decorating the place more, doing the flowers outside and hanging ferns up. Those things were there before, but it's a lot better now. It's like they're putting more money into stuff.
