I went to Cornell Estates Retirement & Assisted Living and the minute I walked in the door, it felt homey, more cozy, bright, and cheerful. The staff was excellent. The lady took us all over the place, answered every single question, and was happy to show us anything we wanted to look at. We liked the one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments that we saw. Some of the one-bedrooms had fireplaces, and some of them had patios or balconies. The one room we liked was the one that had a little bar on it. We also liked the fact that we could have our cat in there, that they had a whole list of activities and a good food menu. The dining room was very nice and seemed like a happy place, too.
