This place is very beautiful it''s the kind of place if I had to be In a facility this is where I would like to be
My dad can be a little obstinate at times. The staff is always very accommodating and helpful. It's also very nice to have a place like this in my parents' hometown. My dad knows several of the people there so he feels like he's not in such a strange place.

Clen-Moore Place is a very nice place. The lady was very nice, and they have a nice package to take home with you. Even though in New Castle, they have a nice courtyard inside that you forget that you're in the city. It's very pretty. She showed me a mock room. It's a one-room apartment and has a big walk-in shower. Somebody in a wheelchair could be bathed in. It's an efficiency apartment; it has a microwave unit and a small refrigerator, which was very nice. The staff was very nice, she was very informative. I had a few questions and she answered them right away. From the very beginning, I knew my brother couldn't go in there because they don't accept Medicaid or Medicare, but she still took me around on tour, which was very nice of her because she didn't have to. They have meals three times a day. They have refrigerators where you can have little snacks and things like that to keep in your room, which is nice. The microwave heats stuff up if you wanted to. The residents were sitting in a nice waiting room or visiting type big room, and they all seemed happy. They didn't seem dejected or anything like that, and I've been to a few of them just visiting relatives. This is a retirement home, not a nursing home, that is the difference.
Read moreIt isn't the cheapest but it is for sure worth it. it is a great place to go if you can afford for your loved one to go there. The staff are very courteous, friendly, caring and competent. Nothing but good so far.

Clen Moore Place is a beautiful assisted living place. I don't know how old it is, but I'd say it's maybe ten years old. It has a nice courtyard, a square design, and nice rooms. The thing is, they require a $4000 deposit that is nonrefundable. When an event comes up and the room has to be vacated, they use the money to put in new carpeting, do a paint job, and things like that. That seems really overboard to me. The staff and employees are very accommodating people. The facility is a square with a courtyard in the middle, so if you walk in one direction, you'll come back to where you started from. There are some restaurants and shops in the area.
