Clapps Nursing Home is truly amazing. My mother had battled dementia for nearly 3 years, with additional health issues. My mother was first placed at an assisted living facility, High Point Regional hospital, Beacon Place, then Clapps, as my mother was deteriorating . You either received a call or email daily with updates. My mother passed December 19th of this year. They were so kind, sincere, just very caring. In honor of my mother, we had asked for donations to be made to Clapps, they are amazing, and hopefully we can honor them as well. Everyone has truly been amazing, Kelly Adams, the unit manager is truly a caring individual! Thank you all for your kindness! ,

My mom was sent staight over from the hospital yesterday. They discharged her from the hospital at 9 am , clapps didn''t arrive to about 3:30 , so she missed her lunch and round of medicine because of the discharged, she arrived at clapps , they gave her medicine at about 7:30 last night , then shut...

My mom was sent staight over from the hospital yesterday. They discharged her from the hospital at 9 am , clapps didn''t arrive to about 3:30 , so she missed her lunch and round of medicine because of the discharged, she arrived at clapps , they gave her medicine at about 7:30 last night , then shut the door , she was in extreme pain from a hip replacement, they did not bring her medicine back in , as per doctor''s instructions, 4-6 hours . They left a dirty diaper on her all night long , she rang her alert button 4 times and the nurse did not change her to 5 a.m . I went staight there this morning, and was told by the nurse that she could not speak for the night shift and that they was a busy place and this happens some times. The long story short , no medicine and was left in a wet and other diaper all night . So she wanted to go home . I would never put a love one in the hands of a place like this.
