The one that I liked the best was Charter Senior Living of Davison, but they didn't have any room available. They had a physical therapy department right there on site, so they could get physical therapy every day if they needed it. They had individualized meals. Your pets were allowed. They had individual heating. The staff was very welcoming, but the ratio from caregiver to patient was too high - 1 to 10. The food that I had there had taste, and it was easy to eat. They would bend over backward to get you whatever you needed. They had a gym onsite, a chef on site that you can have several choices as to what you want to eat, and they had a beautician and a podiatrist that came on site.

I have toured Charter Senior Living of Davison. I liked it because it was nice, clean, and it was lively so the people were out and about, and the people were also friendly. Their rooms were nice and comes with their own private bathrooms, you have to bring your own furniture. The staff who gave the tour was friendly, she was informative, and helpful. They had the assisted living and the memory care people together doing an activity when we were there, so that was nice. They had a couple of common spaces, they had a dining area, and a family dining area. I didn't try the food while I was there but it smelled good.

My mom is at Charter Senior Living of Davison. The staff is very caring and very informative. There's lots of communication about my mom. They treat her as an individual. They have access to a hair salon twice a week, a doctor on staff that comes and sees them in their homes, outings, a library, a theater room, and different activities and classes every day that they can participate. They're all in their individual apartments so they have some sense of independence. My mom is currently in a studio, but she's on a waitlist for a one-bedroom. It is a decent size studio apartment. She has a small kitchenette that has a microwave and a mini fridge so she can keep her own snacks. She has her own private bathroom, too. They have outdoor areas that they can go in and are still contained on the property. They have two separate living room areas and a sunroom. It's not a huge facility, so it's easy to navigate and everything's handicap accessible. It's a little pricier than some of the ones in the area, but the extra price is worth it.
Read moreWe chose Charter Senior Living mainly because of the convenience for our whole family. It is a beautiful facility as well. My loved one did need a lot of care and sometimes they did not get to him as fast as I thought they should have. But overall I think it is a nice place.

Charter Senior Living of Davison was beautiful. That's where we would have chosen to go. They told us all the things that they could help my mother-in-law with and the lady that we talked to, Marissa, was very, very nice and very helpful. They had quite a list of things that they did and things that they would do with the memory care residents, and they were very good. It was a very good facility. We would have felt very comfortable sending her there. The tour itself and the information that Marissa gave us was very good.
Read moreAll the rooms in Charter Senior Living of Davison were very nice. The community, the atmosphere, the dining rooms, the living areas, and everything was nice. They had a menu that looked adequate. They had bingo, which my father would like. They also had entertainment as part of their activities.
