I enjoy creating activities to do with my friends and neighbors. I also provide transportation to those that need my help. Our lobby is looking so much bigger and the renovations are coming along great.
I love the people around me and meeting new friends.

We moved into Holiday Carmel Place. They have guidelines and procedures that we try to stay within. We enjoy the people here and the employees as well. They seem to be very friendly, outgoing, and eager to help. They have all kinds of card games, board games, and puzzles. Everything was easy to access. They have game tables set up in the hallways near elevators. It's pretty easy to mix in with other people who have been here a while. The facility is fairly old, but they are due for a remodel within the next two or three months, which will be very interesting to see. My wife and I decided to move up here because we were going to be much closer to her family.
Read moreCarmel place was more assisted living and not what was needed. Numerous foul smells. Decor not vibrant. Not much variety with meals.
Carmel Place was undergoing repairs and construction when we went to tour with them, so it was a bit crowded and hard to tell what it would be without it and all of the projects finished.
