I love this community. My family member was provided with a great call device that offers 24/7 emergency support. When moving in the staff was so helpful and even provided a thorough orientation for him. The residents all have good things to say

Holiday Capital Place is beautiful. It's one of the nicest places I've been to. It's nice. I toured the main building and a one-bedroom, which is on the third floor. And then I toured the condo which is just outside the main building, and it was nice also. Madison took us around, and she was very, very polite. She called back and thanked me for coming for the tour. It was my ideal place. Everything is right there if you need it. The condos don't have a washing facility. You've got to take your washing inside the main building, but that's just a couple of feet away. It's not that far, or you can get somebody to come and help you take your laundry in. They have patios in the apartments that we look at. Outside, they have places where you could go and sit.

Holiday Capital Place was lackluster. When I went there, there was no one at the front desk, and I waited about 5 minutes before someone showed up to greet me. They had double-booked the appointment, and I had to wait an extra 5 to 7 minutes after that for someone to give me a tour. The room was fine. There's nothing special. There were no safety cords in the rooms that I visited and that is a concern. The staff who assisted me was nice enough, but she was the activities director, not the sales manager, so she didn't have a lot of information. They had a piano there. The activities manager said that they had just done a planting day. They'd go and rent a movie on a weekly basis for people to watch in their movie room. I already talked with the general manager there. She wanted to know why I left the review that I did. It was simply because it looked as though it was not well managed by the staff that was there that day. I did not have a good visit and I was not able to get the information that I needed to get. We were told that it would be more of an assisted living type of facility going in. When I got there, I found out it was more independent living, so it looked as though the information I was given about the facility (by the person who set me up with that visit) was not as advertised. I suggest they add safety pull cords in every single room, ensure that there is a staff member at all times at the front desk when they are supposed to be, and ensure that the visits are not double booked. They were upgrading their amenities.

I have a friend at Holiday Capital Place. I was there every Monday. Right now, they are in quarantine, so there's not much to see. They had a COVID outbreak. Nevertheless, it's very well maintained, as far as cleanliness. They have a lot of activities for residents. Every time I'm there, the staff are very friendly and very accommodating. My friend doesn't like to eat there because of her preferences. Otherwise, everything seems to be functioning very well in this organization. They have a very big dining area. It's very good, as far as I understand. People would assemble there, and they have little conversations. They can order food in the restaurant. It's kind of limited on what they can order. Otherwise, nobody seems to be complaining about this place. For activities, they took my friend to newly released movies. They take them grocery shopping once a week. I know they have activities every day. They have different card games.

I recently brought my grandparents here to tour the Community. They don't feel they need the "Extra Care" but with recent health declines and a couple falls, its time they find a place they will enjoy and be safe at. During the tour, Jesse was nothing but amazing. She was so informative and made sure all our questions were answered. She made sure my grandparents understood the concerns the family had and how important it is to find a community that they not only could love living at but a place that cared enough for their safety. She simplified it for them. The staff was friendly as we walked passed them during our tour and the residents were so friendly and made sure to say hello or conversate with my grandparents. My grandparents and I were invited to stay for lunch. The meal was decent. My grandparents loved it! After the tour, Jesse sat us down and went over pricing and answered any remaining questions we had. Kathy, the General Manager came by to introduce herself and thanked us for touring. The building may be older, but it was so clean and felt like home.
