My father was at Caledonia Senior Living & Memory Care. It's clean. They're very attentive and patient, and I saw them in action. I saw people were busy often. The gardens and grounds were well-kept, and the interior was very clean. He did a little bit of exercise. There was a salon.

Don't let the beautiful new building fool you. When my loved one was their for 8 months they had only 2 C.N.A.s on the floor with 9 patients. This is a liability if 2 staff need to help change someone then no one is left with the other 8 patients wandering around. Just 2 CNAs expected to cook, care, laundry and engage patients. Minimal engagement is allowed when CNAs are that busy and details get over looked like cutting up the patients food, when they are unable. Also no hospital beds or bed rails for safety. My loved one ended up with a broken collarbone well 2 cnas were trying to change him, and suffered a bad fall in the bathroom with no staff noticing for over 1 hour. Don't be deceived by the sales pitch and beauty they do not care about your loved one they only care about the bed being full and paid for.

Good
Since mom became a resident in [date removed] our overall experience has been a very positive one. Mom will turn [age removed] in June and lived in her house for 70 years. She, time and again tells me, "If I can't be in my house, this is the best place to be. Everyone is very nice to me!!".
