I worked here as an activities coordinator, and I absolutely loved the residents. They became like family to me, and I looked forward to seeing them every day. Unfortunately, the current memory care director has ruined everyone’s experience here, including mine. From my experience and in my opinion, she is a bully to staff members and residents, picks on people, makes up lies about staff members, gossips, and would never get disciplined by corporate (they are aware of her actions and behaviors - there is proof of what is listed above.) She has told me she should “throw flowers” in my face after asking her a question, force residents to take showers, would not follow the handbook, and a lot more. Yes, I have told corporate about these things, but that resulted in me being added to the “no hire list”? I feel traumatized from my experience with the memory care director, and I will truly miss the residents. I wonder if the state is aware or at least an investigation is being put to action? I also wonder and worry if the resident’s families are aware of what’s going on at this facility?

My dad moved into Aspired Living of La Grange. It was a very pleasant experience. Very friendly people, very easy transition. They did everything they could to help us. The staff was very pleasant, very friendly. They're all very dedicated to what they do. They genuinely care. It's pretty straightforward. It's a really good setup. I'm kind of jealous of the rooms myself. They're very nice, and of the ones I saw, I'd live there. The food is delicious. They keep the residents very busy. They have, at minimum, four to five different activities a day. They have multiple clubs that are run by the residents. They also have events run by the organization itself. They just have a lot to do there. The living atmosphere is very pleasant. It's very modern, but also very homey. You can do what you want. They allow you to make it your home. It's a very nice facility.

State really needs to take a close look at Aspired living of La Grange.

I went to Aspired Living of La Grange. They have assisted living and independent living kind of combined. There are different floors for the different services. They're not in separate buildings. It's a beautiful facility with a lot of amenities and a lot of services. It has beautiful grounds, a beautiful courtyard, and it's right next to a park. They have a lot of extra services including a relationship with the medical community for seniors. The staff seemed wonderful and they have a nice one-bedroom unit. They're one of the ones on the top of my list. They have physical therapy, occupational therapy, and a lot of activities, and they have raised beds for gardening for seniors.

Brookdale Bristol is a fantastic facility. From the kitchen to housekeeping they will do anything you need for your family! It''s a great place to live and work!
