The food is horrible. In 18 months there has been 3 different managers. Hard to keep staff, but know that is a larger problem. Staff that they do have seem like they do not communicate with each other. Based off of our experience, I would not recommend Cadence Aurora to others.
My loved one was a resident at Cadence Aurora for a little over a month. Some of the staff was excellent while others not so good. I do not think her room was ever cleaned while she was there. Some of her clothes were not returned after they were sent for washing and she received other people's clothes when her clean ones were returned. This facility was/is very close to my house so very easy for me to get there quickly. I do not think I would recommend this facility to others.

I would recommend Cadence Aurora for assisted living. Based on what I've seen there, all of the staff members are willing two make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Such an amazing community, very home like and the social environment is uplifting. The staff has been here for years and care deeply for the residents

I would give no stars if I could. My cousin was placed at Cadence of Aurora Senior living and stayed 2 1/2 weeks. She was alone in building #2 and couldn't get staff members to come and answer her call button. Food was always brought cold and usually not what she ordered. She couldn't get anyone to help her with medications or to the restroom. The last night my cousin experienced shortness-of-breath and pressed her call button 9 times in an hour and when no one came she called the paramedics herself. She needed open heart surgery. When she called [name removed], the director, after surgery to arrange to move out of that terrible facility she said my cousin needed to give them 30 days notice. No care, NO HELPING HANDS! I hope this review helps other potential residence avoid Cadence of Aurora's neglect.
