I just spent 20 days I their care and rehab, in the south wing. I would give them ten plus stars if I could, You could not ask for better care. 24/7. All the staff from housekeeping to assistant''s, to nurses, and doctors take the best of care with you. Especially with COVID running rampant in half ...

All the staff from housekeeping to assistant''s, to nurses, and doctors take the best of care with you. Especially with COVID running rampant in half the State, I never smelled anything foul, nor heard any one crying out for help because they fell. The food was good as was the presentation. Clean facility staff is professional helpful and polite. Yes I have read the reviews but my eyes my ears and my nose and judgment say that this is a good facility hopefully I will not have to use a facility like this again for my family but I will definitely if someone asks will say Brookhaven Health will be a good choice if you need structured care for a family member. Horrible place. My parents were there together in same room. My father would have bathroom accidents and the staff would give my mother, who was there recovering from hip surgery, towels to clean up the bathroom floor herself. My parents weren''t bathed for weeks at a time and only after they begged for a shower. My father died of covid while in their care. We moved Mom out and 3 months later they are still refusing to reimburse her credit.
