I think it's been great! My loved one has stated that he likes it and that he's in the right place. We picked this community, because of the price, enthusiastic staff, larger room size, and it was a less feel of a 'nursing home' than others. Other places we visited had a lot more people in wheelchairs and didn't seem to be very communicative. Remington had groups of residents sitting in the front room talking and others walking the halls. I wish the security was better. There should be more communication with residents about incidents.

Brookdale Remington Park had the best facilities. They had medical staff 24/7 and they would take control of your medications. It was an overall package and was good. It was a little expensive, but if I were to pick a place in my mind, that would be the place I would like to go. When I was there, it was lunchtime so people were at the tables eating their lunch. I was offered one, but I refused it because I had just eaten about an hour or so before I went. The staff were informative about their programs and the things they do. They were interacting with the residents and having barbecues in the patio area. Any questions I had, they were right there to answer. It was an older building, but it was clean and kept pretty nicely. The studio apartment had one bed. It was clean, but it was really small. Then they had a library, a television room, a table set up along the halls where you could stop and work on puzzles, and a game room where they go and have activities.
