I stayed a year ago for two months. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had three meals a day in a shared dining room. The food was excellent. My only complaint was that their servings were too large. The rooms were very large. The resident rooms and the common spaces were kept very clean....

My only complaint was that their servings were too large. The rooms were very large. The resident rooms and the common spaces were kept very clean. They had shared common rooms like we had Wii bowling in a TV room, they had bingo in a community room, and they had happy hour on Fridays in the front lobby. I got a lot of value out of it.

Paramount Senior Living at Middleburg Heights was nice, but it wasn't as fabulous as the other place that I toured. The gentleman who assisted me with the tour greeted me in the parking lot. We looked at the facilities outside for a moment. We started the tour at the entrance where the mailboxes were and he said they would deliver the big packages to the apartments. He showed me an efficiency suite-type apartment, which I didn't want, but it was nice. I just don't like everything in one room. Everything was in there but you had to provide your furniture. The dining room had a shelf behind this big wall and window, and the chef would cook whatever you want for breakfast. On the other side of the area was a restaurant-style setup where you could get your food and eat. He showed me the laundry room, and then everything else was on the second floor. The grounds looked nice, and it seemed like in the spring or summer, it would be very beautiful.
