The people at Brookdale Bay City Assisted Living were friendly. There were people putting puzzles together and they had some kind of activities like bingo. It seemed to be pretty clean. There weren't any bathrooms in every room though. They had to bathe elsewhere, like a community shower type thing, and I didn't care for that. It was very expensive, but all of these facilities are expensive. There were very few people in that particular place. The community areas where you would sit in a living room with a bunch of other people were very small. I wasn't thrilled that with the colors and the way it was decorated. It's all dark colors. They don't take Medicaid waivers either.

I like it too -- it's in Bay city and it's small -- there's not a lot of clients there. I live in California and when I called them, they answered my questions. They have a salon and they do bingo. So far, I am satisfied with the care they provide.
