Weird culture and work ethic, here. Staff berates family for bringing food to patients who are unable to feed themselves during hours other than at meal time. Patients and visitors complain of it being unbearably hot in here, regardless of season or weather. Most medical facilities I have experience with keep indoor temperatures cool for infection control reasons. Why does this place keep it unbearably hot at all times? Is someone at DHEC in their pocket? Also, what is with the praying hands where you normally click a heart to like a comment? It is as though they limit the number of likes a negative review can receive by reducing say "five" likes to four, then back up to five. Why?

I was admitted to this facility on a recent weekday afternoon. Spoke with no one in admin after that. Didn''t see a nurse or medical staff of any kind other than the two nurses that gave out the pills. CNAs would bring food and leave it, you''d see them in a bit to pick up empty plates and every so often to change a patient''s brief unless they ignored the call lights. Never answered for me. Never offered to help you clean up or bathe...it was horrible. Please don''t kill your elders with this facility! Thanks to Annie for being the only smiling face in the place!

My father recently was admitted there after a hospital stay. He was 93 but very alert. I can’t say enough good things about this facility. I’ve worked in skilled care so I am familiar with what is to be expected. This facility might not have the beautiful Ethan Allen looking furnishing but it has what’s more important, caring staff. My father was at the end stage of his life and only lived seven days there, but in that time they cared very compassionately for him. All the staff looked like they genuinely enjoyed their job. The admission process with Rose was very efficient and she was very knowledgeable. Noel was the admission coordinator and she was super helpful and welcoming to me and glad to have my father be admitted. In my father’s last few hours, the nurse Mary was so warm hearted to me. She offered my family coffee or snacks as we sat by my father’s bedside. The CNAs assigned to him made sure he was clean and comfortable. This facility has had some struggles , like many nursing homes with staff shortages and trying to satisfy DHEC but they are making a strong come back to provide excellent care. It’s home like and the focus is on resident care. Their activities therapy person Annie is a true angel. She loves her job and it shows how she loves the residents. I will be returning to take my golden doodle to do pet therapy as they are very pet friendly. No place will be perfect, but I would recommend Brian. My father’s last days were the best as could be with the staff caring so much for him and so compassionate to us, his family.

They wouldn’t even let us to take pictures and made my grandpas wife sign where we couldn’t take pictures, so i can’t show any pictures.

Please don''t go by my prior review . Although the staff was nice. I am finding new details that are not. I spoke to soon. And apologize. I might revisit at a later time 🤔 but for now l can''t give this facility such a great review. The staff is wonderful . The facility is very clean. We had to place my father in law in for rehabilitation and possibly long term care. This is a new journey in our lives as well as his. I couldn''t imagine how I would have gotten through this new beginning change without the help from April Sutherland the social worker and Nicole Sears in admissions. . Kudos to the outstanding expertise , support and knowledge of there positions that they''re in. They really are caring souls and this is something that is hard to come across anymore. Thank you again.. entire staff for all you do!! The challenge has just begun keep up all the hard work compassion and commitment. Most of all thank you for taking care of my loved one !!
