My brother has been living at Bentley Commons for 5 months. We are pleased with the choice our family has made for him. Staff members know his name, are kind, helpful, and responsive. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and the facility is recently renovated. He enjoys eating meals with independent and assisted living residents together. I would definitely choose Bentley Commons again.

As both of my in-laws’ health declined rapidly last year, we had no choice but to move them into assisted living as they were no longer able to safely live on their own. From the moment we walked in to Bentley Commons our family has felt welcomed and loved. We moved them in on October 2, 2023, and sadly my mother-in-law passed away about two weeks later. During that time the staff went above and beyond to let us know they cared about our family. My husband often says how he wishes we’d moved them in sooner because his mom would have loved it there! I have worked in healthcare for over twenty years and, until Bentley Commons, have never seen a facility whose entire staff seems to genuinely enjoy their job. Every staff member seems to know every resident by name and engages with them at every opportunity. They provide excellent medical care while also fostering a community in which the residents feel welcomed and valued. My father-in-law is thriving again and our family is so thankful for Bentley Commons!

Bentley Commons is easily the best assisted living and independent living community in Lynchburg. The staff is competent and friendly and the residents are truly a joy!
