We like Holiday Beaverdale Estates very, very much. We liked that everything was included like the toilet paper, towels, and sheets. Those are all included, as well as all the amenities and the regular stuff that you look for. It's just amazing. The people were wonderful. We met several of the residents, and they were all happy and upbeat. It was a wonderful experience. Everyone I talked to was very upbeat and very knowledgeable about what they were doing. We got a bag of cookies on our way out and those were very, very good, so the chef was good, too. They want us to come back and have a meal with them sometime, so that's definitely on our list of things to do. For amenities, they have game rooms and a library, and they have fitness people there available for help if you need some rehab or physical fitness.

It is just a little bit farther, and I wanted to make it as close to us as possible. It seemed more homey to me though. They had a beautiful courtyard in the back. It was a place where I could see my mother-in-law sitting and relaxing. The person who assisted me was very helpful. I wasn't able to sample their food, but they were cleaning up and I could see that they were doing a good job. For amenities, they have a game room that has a pool table. They do Friday night movies. They have Sunday service and they have a board that has other activities like bingo six days a week. They have competitions for various things, and they get prizes like Beaverdale Bucks is what they called them.
