Autumn Lakes is a place where the nurses and especially the patient care team really care for and about the residents. Premier among the aides is Michelande, who cared for my husband Ron during his extended rehab stay. Michelande was the perfect blend of tough and tender. Sĥe knew when to "PUSH" Ron and when to assist him. She unfailingly treated Ron with respeçt, helping him to retain his dignity. He/we grew to love this wonderful person. The RN NP Renate was outstanding and Chantel and Emma, Dr Northrup, Lil and the wound team and all other staff especially the OT/PT Team Uma and Robert were especially caring and patient. My brother Robert Byxbee has just recently received a devastating diagnosis and subsequent trauma, surgical repair and hospitalization. He is fiercely independent and an eccentric genius type of a man, that needs extra loving care and guidance and help.
