She treats everyone with respect and care. My mother is in the life guidance area. She as well as others can be at times a little difficult to deal with. Sonya has always been positive, working miracles to getting the residents to move from a negative attitude to one more positive. When she was directing the activities for the life guidance residents, i was amazed at the level of commitment she demonstrated to make sure they were connecting and being active and involved. Personally, when i visit she always has a smile for me and often inquires about my family, plans, interests. Sonya is not the only individual who makes life for my mother better. All of the staff from those who clean the rooms, make sure everything is in safe working order, prepares the food, welcomes individuals as they enter, and works with the residence on a daily basis are top notch.
