Initially I was not even aware that inpatient rehab was a option after knee surgery not in-house rehab. Upon learning about inpatient rehab my family convinced me that it was necessary and mandatory in my situation. Upon arriving at aspire I was met with by Miss Miss Nicolette she got me in my room and got me situated and was just very kind. I got here around 5:00 that evening from that minute on every single staff member has been kind and patient. I was afraid I was in pain and I was not prepared for after total knee replacement. I was led to believe I''d be able to go home and in my in my case that was not true. my first night was very pleasant and as my time here moved on the staff has been commendable. my daily interaction has been with a lady named Miss Fantasia, Miss Fantasia was kind and patient she made me feel more comfortable being here.I''m a 68 year old woman and I''m a heavy set woman so not being able to walk and I''m not get to the bathroom was very uncomfortable, for me Fantasia made that experience so much better as the days moved on. I got to meet with the physical therapy and the occupational therapy teams Miss Marissa and Ryan Ross for my first people I met with and later on I got to meet Miss Stacy and Ms Jenna I didn''t understand about the range of motion,so I had to learn to push myself along with their pushing to learn to be in my knee which was very painful.I was sobbing but they were compassionate and helpful with that. Jenna taught me how to massage the muscles along the side of my leg to imposer me to achieve my range of motion goal. it''s just been a very pleasant experience here the food is good of course you don''t like everything but the food was tasty and and very balanced the support staff has been nice housekeeping comes everyday the floor is mopped everyday the bathrooms are cleaned everyday it is just been a really great experience here.I would recommend facility rehab to anybody having to have knee surgery, in fact I did so with one of my friends anybody have approaching a knee replacement go somewhere and get the support you need in order to get back up and get back on your feet thank you aspire team. And finally aspire allowed for my dog to come and visit with me,helping me feel more at ease being away from them. Again thank you so much Aspire Hoover!!!!

I pride myself in being the best caregiver with 40+years of experience and I didn''t come back to Alabama to loose my licence or put them at risk. I worked at Aspire and it is by far the worst managed facility I have ever worked. I pride myself in being the best caregiver with 40+years of experience and I didn''t come back to Alabama to loose my licence or put them at risk. There wasn''t any administration there, no DON or ADON, only 2 Unit Managers and the regional manager was friendly with a day shift nurse of which he took her word as bond. I left there and was blessed with a better facility, a better job with great administrative support and have been there since I left in 2018. The staffing there is terrible with one CNA working with 20 residents and licensed nurse caring for 35-40 patients. The care rendered was terrible no reports given, I could say more things that need to be improved but I won''t however the place is pretty but the care rendered is horrible from the top down👇

Terrible. Could not get anyone on the phone in 13 hrs after transport. Found my relative sleeping on a cold floor. Dirty bed. Teeth not cleaned. And more bad things. So chaotic. No one took responsibility. They did not do what they said they would do.

During a tough time for our family, Aspire was a terrific support. The facility was clean, comfortable, and I can’t say enough nice things about the staff. They were exceptionally kind and knowledgeable. We felt taken care of from start to finish! Highly recommend.
