My mom received excellent care in both the Assisted Living and the Skilled Nursing wings at Artman. Everyone knew her by name and worked hard to accommodate her. The people at Artman, from the nurses to the food service workers to the PT experts all had her best interest at heart.
Besides the smell of urine and god knows what. This place is ok. The pretty gardens are nice for the residents to look at and enjoy. Agree with another reviewer about them not telling you about co-pays you may have. And in part that they don’t listen to the patient. Some of the aids are questionable at best or just should not be in service field if they are put out by assisting residents, talk down to them or treat them roughly. One staff member was even confrontational, raised their voice to/yelled at family and called resident’s family liars. At least the actual RNs and PT & OT staff are nice and good at their jobs. Expected much higher level of care and service based on ratings and previous reputation but sadly disappointed. Unfortunately, cannot in good faith recommend this facility at this time.

My Mom was in Assisted Living at Artman for about a year until she required more care and was moved into longterm care there. The staff was kind, caring, and interested in her wellbeing and ensuring she had the best quality of life. As her health declined she was placed on hospice. We did bring her home so she could spend her remaining days with family. I appreciate the wonderful care my mom received at Artman and I would highly recommend this facility
