I have moved into Park Place, A Signature American House Community. I like the size of it, that it's not too small. I also like the fact that it is very well-maintained. Everyone in charge has been most helpful before I moved in, during moving in, and after I've moved in. I have not gotten to know a lot of the neighbors because I'm in a wheelchair and on oxygen, so I haven't been out and about, but the service here has been outstanding. They're absolutely beautiful. Everyone who comes in here is amazed at how well kept up they are, and just the quality of what they have used to design the rooms and everything. I moved in in November and then I just moved into a different room Saturday. I chose a studio apartment as opposed to a one-bedroom because I don't need that much room. There are lunches, there's going out shopping, there are doctor's visits, and there are activities here all the time like craft activities and bingo. There's just about everything you could want to do is here. And if you can't find it, you can ask for it. There's a lovely library, a very nice pool table for those who like to play pool, an area for playing cards, and an area just for sitting in front of a fireplace talking to your neighbor. The food is unbelievable. I have not had a bad meal here. It is excellent.

American House Park Place was a lovely facility. I've chosen a two-bedroom two-bath that's 1,000 square foot. The layout was perfect for someone in a wheelchair because it's an open design. It's not full of hallways, doorways, and things you have to navigate. For a handicap person, it's very nice. They have a community room, a library, a quiet room, a room where they do religious services, a full dining room, and a natural trail outside for the summertime. It's close to shopping and restaurants. It's a very nice facility. They have all sorts of activities, and they post them on an online bulletin board every day. There's a whole calendar of activities available, and it varies from day-to-day.

Park Place -- A Signature American House -- is very, very luxurious compared to most that we saw. It has an excellent atmosphere and a lot of extras that most people don't have. My sister's apartment is right off their indoor atrium, which has an indoor fish pond and live plants. She has double doors that go right out to the atrium, so it's a very, very lovely setting. It has a friendly atmosphere, not only because of the staff, but also the residents that she's encountered. The staff particularly is very friendly and hospitable too. They also have laundry services.

The facility was excellent. It was like being in an Embassy Suites Hotel. The surroundings were great. It's right near shopping centers, the grocery store is less than a mile away, and it's close to the main road. The staff was very nice.

Park Place is unbelievably beautiful, and the people are attentive. We loved the people when we signed all the paperwork, and we've loved everyone we've met so far. The nursing staff is unbelievable. My mom pulls the cord and they come right away, and they come every two hours. I spent the night there and I had to go to her house just for an hour to do something. When I came back, the nurse was still sitting there. I'm real impressed. The right side is independent living, the left side is assisted living, but they said, "Once you move in here, you'll never move out of your apartment. Everything we can do on the assisted side, we will come to your house and do." We moved mom into the independent living, but with full nursing help. They don't have a hospital section. The other side have 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments, but the staff does more. The food is way better than where she's been. Because of the pandemic, everyone eats inside in their rooms, but their dining room is spectacular and has 25-foot ceilings. Her room has 10-foot ceilings, and it makes her place feel so much grander. There are so many amenities there for her, and there's a variety of food. We chose it because of the location, and they brought the value down because of the pandemic.
