Affinity at Round Rock was wonderful. They could not have been more kind and helpful. My husband had an apartment there and we stayed in his apartment for a couple of weeks while we were getting all the business taken care of down there. My daughter kept wanting to go down to the Internet cafe where they have coffee machines and stuff, but it wasn't because she wanted a cup of coffee, she just wanted to socialize with the people there. That was the vibe. They had a dog park where my husband walked his dog all the time. The facility was clean and safe. They had locks in place. It was well monitored. They had activities going on. People came in to put on little performances and stuff. They had regular activities for the residents and they had a card-playing room. It was just very, very comfortable and very, very welcoming. It was easy to just kind of breathe while we were there. My husband felt the same way. It was a very pleasant experience. The woman we work with, Christy, was so kind. We couldn't have asked for a more considerate person. She gave me her email in case I needed anything. She was that engaged. The residents kept the dog park nice, too, but having pets and a place for the pets to just chill, was already a very positive thing. They were very focused on the residents, making sure that they had whatever they needed, just to be comfortable and entertained, and active.

The staff have been amazing. They have lots of activities going on all of the time. They do things like yoga twice a week, senior aerobics 3 days a week, theatre group, a salt water indoor pool, library, movie theatre, gym, card room, craft room, a pub that provides beer and wine twice a week, etc. ...

They do things like yoga twice a week, senior aerobics 3 days a week, theatre group, a salt water indoor pool, library, movie theatre, gym, card room, craft room, a pub that provides beer and wine twice a week, etc. They put out a calendar every month with what will be going on. I think the value for the money is great, I checked other places and the prices here are wonderful. Maintenance staff is friendly and very responsive. The apartments are not upscale by any means but they are nice and clean. Meals are not provided but food trucks do stop a couple times a week out front and they put flyers up when that is happening. We do have free coffee downstairs available at all times. I would recommend Affinity at Round Rock.

My husband and I moved here in May 2021. We absolutely love it. The management is amazing. Whatever you need they are on it. The amenities are great. Never a dull moment. There is always something to do. Yes, some things get canceled, but that is because management cares about us. With all the illness going on, it’s good not to have large crowds, so bigger events like Happy Hour get canceled. The people here are fantastic. They really look out for their neighbors. When I had to quarantine, there was no shortage of people willing to pick things up from the store for me as my husband was hospitalized for several months. I’ve never met a more caring group. Even management checked on me daily. I thank God for leading us to Affinity and I hope to live here for many years to come.

They were pretty clean and spacious. They had an exercise area, a heated pool, a lot of craft areas, and areas where you can play games. They have a bar, a movie theater, and an internet café, too. It was a pretty cool place. For activities, they have arts and crafts. They have options for the residents to go shopping to a nearby outlet and they have games.
