Understaffed, time sensitive medications not given when scheduled. Poor communication from the nursing staff. Communication is lacking and not a priority.
This is a community where you can move your loved one in with peace of mind that you made the right choice. The staff make everyone feel like family. I highly recommend this community!
I would like to thank the staff at Advinia care on behalf of myself and my family for the kindness and care they shown our mother while under the care of Hospice. From the nursing staff to the maintenance staff you are much appreciated. Thank you.

I recently moved my mom to the assisted living side of a adviniacare in Venice and she absolutely is thriving. She loves all of the activities and the outings and it’s eating three square meals a day along with her little dog Sophie, they go for walks around the property and enjoy the scenery, I couldn’t be happier and also my family of unburdening us with worry for our mom ! The nurses and staff are always willing to help and very courteous to the residents. I honestly could not have picked a better place for our mom

Do NOT send your loved one here. My Dad was here after a hospitalization for rehab. After 10 days I had him transferred to a different facility. While here he would wait hours to go to the bathroom after pushing the call button and being left to sit in his own feces for a very long time Communication with staff is 0. I asked numerous times for the dr to call me so I could voice some concerns about his condition and never received a call back. One day my father wasn’t answering his phone so I called to ask if he was ok and still haven’t received a call back from the nurses. The majority of the nurses are rude and demeaning. The social worker acts like any question asked is a huge inconvenience. She is of absolutely no help whatsoever. There were bugs on the food tray and when my father asked for it to be taken care of he was told “it’s the weekend we don’t have anyone to take care of that”. After talking to my dad I noticed he didn’t sound good and had a cold. I called and asked for them to test him for covid. I was told they didn’t have any tests in the building. They did end up testing him(positive test) if I hadn’t called I’m sure they would have left him sitting there to spread to others. I can’t imagine what people with no family or can’t speak up for themselves go through here. A formal complaint is in the works. Message to the facility, don’t bother to respond to this review with a standard message. I have already spoken to the director of nursing and while she was the only person that communicated with me I know that she is new to the facility and she should really run as fast as she can away from this place. It needs to be shut down ASAP

Things they don’t want you to know: the roof is about to cave in. There is black mold everywhere. It rains in memory care if there is a heavy rain. The company is robbing Paul to pay Peter. So they can buy more companies and forget about the ones that they just bought. Let that settle in a little bit. They will not put money into their communities. No one knows what the hell they’re doing there. I was a regional Director of sales of marketing there. Let’s just say it was hell. I couldn’t do anything to help my marketing directors achieve their goals. Because I had filth in every single apartment I had four apartments to sell that’s it. Daniel the Director of operations didn’t want me talking to anybody else and say hey well just sweep it under the rug. I don’t believe in sweeping things under the rug I believe in making things better. So yes in every single apartment there there is old mattresses old chairs old stuff from people that have passed away. Which also has created more mold black mold. I wouldn’t move my worst enemy into this building. Stay clear! I have been a regional marketing Director since 2018 and I have worked in senior living all of my life. I have never worked for a company that told me to shut up don’t talk about it because nothings gonna happen if you do. So black mold stuff in every single apartment lots of fake people there and liars. It’s a very scary place. Beware!
