The new manger at Wood Glen has made amazing improvements from trips to go shopping, outstanding food, and fun activities for residents. The new manger at Wood Glen has made amazing improvements from trips to go shopping, outstanding food, and fun activities for residents. I have eaten there several times and the changes in the dining room have resulted in tablecloths morning and evening, great tasting and healthy food, and wonderful desserts. The beauty of the property makes it appealing. Gardens surround the facility and there are lots of cozy seating which allows anyone to sit back and enjoy the beautiful roses and so many other flowers. But it is the caring staff, the new manger, and the part time staff that demonstrate genuine caring for all the residents. In my opinion it is perfect for my mom and the kind of place I would want to live.

Wood Glen Hall has beautiful gardens and a lot of outdoor patios and seating areas, but I think their menu probably wasn't quite as great as the other facility I checked out when it comes to the variety and the availability of what individual people's desires are. The rooms were very nice though. They all have garden views. They might be a little bit smaller, but not much. I met the director and she was very nice. I saw their schedule of activities and it seemed like they had plenty of things to do.

My mother is so happy with the staff, food, and the lovely facility. It is wonderful to see her thrive and grow while participating in their varied mind and body activities. The atmosphere feels more like a home than a residential care facility. I feel confident that they are keeping a close eye on her well being and feel very in the loop with their excellent communication. I look forward to my regular visits and feel at home myself.
