I was hijacked to this place after shoulder surgery I did not want to go. This was not my choice, but they showed up with a van right outside the hospital and took me my nightmare began. They are horrible people uncaring, and unprofessional. They made me jump through hoops before they let me go home because I live alone I felt like I was a prisoner, the therapy I got in this place was no more than what I could’ve got at home but they wouldn’t let me go home. I did just fine at home before I had my surgery and I was going to do just fine at home after the surgery but they wouldn’t let me go. It was ridiculous. They really penalized me for living alone, but I had help that came in, and I couldn’t get it through their heads that I may live alone, but I wasn’t alone, I had help anyway, stay away from this place. It’s bad news.

Admitted for rehab and 24/7 PICC line IV administration, which was administered on time at proper intervals. Dedicated food islands for separate halls; outdoor space and well-equipped gym. DedicatedTherapists & social workers; complaints addressed timely. Encountered one abrasive nurse, several abrasive & rude CVA’s, who flipped on light in middle of night, and jumped on bed (I had two consecutive back surgeries). Meals served either in dining room or in room.

This was our personal experience.... If you find yourself in need of rehabilitation services in The Villages area, look no further than Villages Rehab and Nursing Center. While no one wishes to be in a rehab center, our experience with Villages Rehab has been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were met with a team of dedicated professionals who went above and beyond to ensure the well-being and comfort of our loved one. Dee, who handled the initial evaluation, showed genuine compassion and expertise in assigning the right therapist for our dad''s needs. Matt, our physical therapist, was simply amazing. His patience and encouragement played a crucial role in our dad''s recovery journey. Bunny, who handled occupational therapy, was equally outstanding in her approach and care. Amanda, the Social Worker, deserves special recognition for her unparalleled dedication. She not only provided invaluable support to our family but also played a pivotal role in appealing our dad''s discharge from the insurance company. Her determination and thoroughness in gathering evidence and records were instrumental in ensuring our dad received the continued care he needed. And then there''s Alesia. From the moment we met her, it was evident that she is not just good at her job, but truly exceptional. Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine care for our dad made a significant difference during his stay. To the entire team at Villages Rehab and Nursing Center, we extend our heartfelt gratitude. Your dedication, expertise, and unwavering support made a challenging time much more manageable for our family. We feel compelled to caution others against being swayed solely by facility rankings. While other places may boast higher scores(currently at 4.7 - you know who you are), our experience at Villages Rehab speaks volumes. Trust us when we say, you''ll be making a big mistake if you overlook the exceptional care provided by this facility. Once again from our entire family, a huge THANK YOU to the entire team at Villages Rehab and Nursing Center for your outstanding service and care. The team got Dad strong enough to fly to Indiana and he is now in an ALF and settling in.
