My grandmother was there for a month. In that time, they lost her dentures and her glasses. On multiple occasions, we visited her and find her without underwear or a diaper or pants on. Would not recommend putting your loved one here.

My mother was there for rehabilitation to help her walk better. She was there for 20 days. Not only did they did nothing to help her walk better they lost her dentures and her glasses some of her clothes and her blanket. They also put her on medication to slow her down to make it easier for them. After the 20 days that her insurance would pay for they decided that she was to much for them to handle and she would have to leave. They refused to pay for anything that they had lost. What a shame that there are places like Parkside that take advantage of the elderly.

My father has been at Parkside since January 8, 2022. During his stay the staff has been nothing but kind to my father. At times I feel many employees have gone over and above our requests. Only on a couple of occasions have we ever had to wait for things to be done and those days were both on very bad snowstorm weekends. Like anywhere else they may have to run a little short on employees at times , but they certainly do their best to meet and attend to all needs. My dad loves his new home and for that I am very thankful. For me it makes me feel at ease with his safety while he is away from family. The meals are delicious and he loves to have a choice in picking them. I cant thank Parkside Columbiana enough for all they do.

Very poor standard of care and absolutely no compassion. This facility and staff have no COVID protocol in place to help residents stay in touch with their families. They lock the doors and told me to look through a window to see my grandmother. Then pointed out she wasn''t near the window so I wouldn''t be able to see her. They don''t update website or phone messages to inform people not to visit. They wait until you travel all day then turn you away at the door like YOU did something wrong by trying to visit a loved one? People in jails have visitation via glass barriers and a phone but this place can''t seem to figure out a way to help their residents with any standard COVID protocol other than to lock them up,, isolate them. Other places have found ways to continue a standard of care for residents due to COVID. This place does not care to adopt any. Take your loved one ANYWHERE but here.
