DO NOT, under any circumstances, let these people "care" for ANYONE you care about. Even people you _don''t_ care about deserve better than this place. Nursing staff barely responds; will leave you sitting in feces if someone didn''t keep calling on your behalf. A nurse from "wound care" basically accelerated wound deterioration with her bandaging. Physical therapy is mostly a joke. Housekeeping came with a broom and was in and out within 10 seconds (I am not exaggerating!); she did not remove any trash. The furniture is old and falling apart. There were ants (likely from housekeeping barely sweeping). It goes on... And I saw this personally for two other residents, not just my own family. I wish there were better things to say. Some of the staff I met are nice but there are too few of them to make up for the overall shoddy care.

The Nursing Staff at Jonesboro were wonderful during my stay. When I was admitted to the facility I was unable to walk, and eventually gained my strength back. The DON (Christina), Administrator (Marcus Oates), Rehab Staff, and The Unit Manager made sure we were taken good care of. I take my hat off to Jonesboro Nursing and Rehab. I’m walking now, and even took the time to drive back up to the nursing home to thank the staff. God Bless

Following a surgery and a fall I ended up at the rehab about 4 weeks. They took extreme precautions for their patients and employees in regards to Covid-19 testing, quarantine and vaccines once they became available. There were some communication breakdowns with upper management and staff doctors. I will say though that the RN''s, CNA''s and Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy staff were wonderful. They were professional, caring, respectful of privacy. Also, Angeline and Chandler were very attentive at getting the paperwork and equipment I needed to assist me when I went home.
