Very concerned: Covid cases are rising. Staff going in and out of Covid positive and negative patient rooms without changing PPE. No testing upon arrival. Has mask policy in place (signs) but staff does not adhere or enforce it.
Elim Park Place is extremely nice, extraordinary, and high-end. It is very expensive. It has everything and anything you would need. There are three or four restaurants and some cafes. It's a very large place.
I have been to many terrible short term rehabs but I cannot say enough for Elim Park. The staff here is wonderful and physical therapy is terrific! I highly recommend Elim Park!

Today my mom was brought to Elim Park for a short term rehab stay. I was anxious to see her as my mom was worried about the trip from the hospital. Knowing COVID restrictions are still in play, I was also anxious about what to expect upon entry. I had looked at the website and knew there may be some other things to I be unaware of. When I entered the building, I received a very unfriendly welcome by the woman at the front desk. First, she was not wearing her mask over her mouth (I believed it is required by all?!?) which surprised me. The woman just had it hanging off her ear. Second, knowing it was my first visit, there was no greeting or any empathy shown by this woman. It would have been nice to be welcomed. She made me feel like I was secondary. Lastly, coming from a very highly patient/ family oriented hospital (Griffin hospital), I am worried the treatment with my mother will be the same as mine. Coming from a customer service background, I know how first impressions are important. However, mistakes can be made. So I am excited to meet the rest of the staff and the recovery/experience of my mom.
Read moreMy 83 year old aunt recently was at Elim Park for rehab and had a wonderful experience. The staff was attentive and friendly and made her feel very comfortable and cared for. She said it was the best rehab experience she has ever had, and will only go there if she needs rehab again!
