There is a nurse here Erlinda who on purpose runs all the good staff away. Very argumentative and has a nasty attitude. Management turns a blind eye to it all. Listen to the residents or they will leave. Why does she show up to work aggressive. 20 years of putting up with her is ridiculous. Nepotism...

This place is an absolute zoo! Management is clueless as to what''s really happening on the residents floors and they prefer to keep it that way. Trying to speak to management to find a solution is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Other staff is just simply rude. Most of the staff speaks in their native language constantly disregarding how Residents or other staff members feel. The place is so short staffed, some Residents go shifts in a row without being changed out of their soiled diapers. As a new staff member, you get absolutely no valuable training. You''re just expected to figure things out on your own with very little help or guidance. No structure whatsoever.

This review is long overdue. My sister, who is disabled since childhood, is a resident at Alden Northmoor. Several years ago, she had a heart attack, had surgery and was admitted to Alden Northmoor for rehabilitation. Several months later, she was discharged. I went to pick her up and she wanted to stay. She loves it there. The activities and her best friend, Crystal Atsaves, the social worker are what and who she enjoys. I can''t thank Crystal enough. My sister has never had a best friend. They are best buddies. Crystal has gone above and beyond to make my sister happy. She loves oldies music and Crystal makes sure she gets a couple of hours of music each day. I now have peace of mind, knowing that my sister is well taken care of. I visit weekly and see how happy she is, interacting with the staff and residents. Crystal is not only a caring person with my sister. I have witnessed her kindness and concern with other residents many times. I would also like to mention CJ, the CNA and Llambrini, the activities person. Both are dedicated and kind to the residents. THANK GOD FOR ALDEN NORTHMOOR NURSING HOME! Sharon Buffalo

After watching my father deteriorating on face time as our only means of communicating with someone who is communicatively impaired because of COVID restrictions, and not being able to get feedback from staff in a timely manner, we did everything we could to remove him from Alden. He returned home with bed sores, rashes and traumatized. Shameful and heartbreaking! .
