Dont send your loved ones here I live behind the facility and literally multiple times a day and literally multiple times a night I hear these poor people screaming for help for 30 or more minutes. I smoke outside and they leave the windows open and some man fell out of his bed and was screaming for help for 20 minutes the nurse came and he said I fell out of my bed and she literally yelled AGAIN?? I''ve had to call them multiple times (a lot of the times no answer" to see if someone is coming to help them

My Mom stayed at Mapleton for skilled nursing after her hospital visit. She was there about ten days in December 2023. She said that everyone who worked there was wonderful, the nurses were terrific, the food was plentiful, the exercise classes were good. I visited often during that time and observed the staff being responsive and pleasant with the guests. Some things that could use improvement are the building is old and the electrical outlets in the rooms are limited. The TV was difficult to figure out how to work it and no one could help, we couldn''t work the remote or change the channel. During her stay there was a plumbing issue so the front lobby was a mess. It was repaired and lobby functional by the time she left. I would have liked better communication and a designated contact person to understand the care and plan for my Mom, but the PT staff was great helping her to get stronger and I did talk with a staff member. After discharge, the paperwork was not completed correctly and the prescriptions couldn''t be filled until the proper details were provided. But when you have to put a parent in a facility like this, the most important thing is the care they receive and she raved about how wonderful the staff was and the nurses. Though there can be improvements, and hopefully there are, I would recommend Mapleton for your loved ones.

My Father is at Mapleton Care Center. We are so thrilled at how wonderful the staff is there. They truly care about the residents they are just not a number. They have made sure my Dad is safe and also has a great quality of life. If anything happens they are quick to call you and each time I go to see my Dad they don''t avoid you or eye contact. Everyone is so friendly. My Dad was at a couple of other places and there is no comparison to Mapleton. I feel so blessed to find Mapleton for my Dad. When I leave I know he is in good hands. I would recommend Mapleton to anyone looking for a place for a loved one.
Read moreMy husband is there, the staff take excellent care of him. When I have questions or a concern they always listen and resolve whatever the issue is. They are attentive and carring.
The "DON" Dana and staffing named Tara very rude and unprofessional. They don''t put residents first all there worried about is sitting around and gossip I have never seen a nursing home run like that besides mapleton care center.
