The Woodlands has taken great care of my family member for several years. The staff works hard to provide for the residents that live there. The nurses are quick to resolve issues that come up and they have all been kind to me over the years. So thankful to The Woodlands.

I’ve dealt with family members being in bad nursing homes but this one takes the cake. My mother in law is currently a resident. She has been for a few years now. She has dementia and has fallen. I’ve come into find her lying in her own feces (and it was NOT new). To too if off, the staff denied any wrong doing. They said that they often checked on her and had ‘just been in there and she was fine’. Lie. They have never ONCE called us to give us any updates on things like, if she’s fallen, etc. we told her doctor that they never called, unless it was about money, and she couldn’t believe it. Please do not put your loved one there. It is an absolutely horrible place that needs to be investigated by the State since they’re taking state and federal funds, ie my mother in law’s social security check for example. If I could give them no stars, I would.

My Fiancé went back to the woodlands in September to work as CNA. I honestly can’t put into words how horribly she was treated for someone with such a Big, caring heart for the elderly. She started working as part time cause we have 2 little girls she has to care for daily after 2 o’clock, come late December she gets told she has to start working 12 hour shifts or she has to find another job. Now she is with no job.They threatened her to put her for abandoning residents since she had leave early knowin all her work was done from showers & all before she had to leave. When she would work she would be the only CNA on the hall to be showering the residents while the other aides sit behind the nurses station not doing anything, leaving residents soiled all day, going without showers for days at a time. Wearing the same clothes for 4 days before someone finally changes them. This place is horrible, I worried about my fiancé when she was at work and no husband should have to worry like I did. Staff is so rude and need to get better people in there to take care of your loved one. I would not trust this place with your loved one. If you want excellent care this is not the place! They’d rather have someone that’s lazy and don’t do anything all day than to have someone that truly cares for your family member. I don’t appreciate how my fiancé got treated. God don’t like ugly!
