My mother has been living here since August, and I am her daughter who lives out of state. I can tell you she is so truly happy there! She loves the food and has made new friends. She loves to walk around and chat and there is a beautiful courtyard where she sits and plays accordian sometimes. She get get her hair done there and there are outings, activities if she wants. Nice TV rooms and seating areas to socialize. It is a beautiful facility and the staff is TOP NOTCH. They call me and give me updates with any health changes- I do not worry about her she is in great hands. I visited her there alot the first month and was also impressed at how kind the residents are as well. It is wonderful to see this place in action especially when the world can seem so dark. Kindness, and compassion live here for sure. We were very very lucky to find this place and they have been terrific, we are so grateful.

We went to Woodcrest Commons. The person who was supposed to give the tour actually didn't show up and someone else gave the tour. My sister and I found the facility to be clean, but overall it felt more like a nursing home than assisted living. The environment was not what we were looking for. We saw a studio that was small. The room was clean, but it felt more institutional.

I received a phone call today from someone asking preliminary questions for the position I applied for which was the Resident Care Director position. I did not catch the name but the call was very unprofessional. When I was asked questions I was cut off before finishing sentences. This person also decided to question jobs on my resume and my positions. I had answers for each question asked. This person assumed that I was fabricating a story regarding hours needed while in one of my positions based off of their personal experience with the company. Once I corrected this individual, they then realized they were wrong. I did not receive an apology. The start of the conversation was very rough and started off with stating that she will not bring in candidates until she verifies information. This is totally understandable, however a greeting would have been appreciated. I did not finish the phone call. I will also call and speak with someone regarding this issue. I have no interest in working for your company and I will let anyone I know not apply at such a location. I know that based on my education and experience that I will be a great asset to any company I decide to go to. Based off the online reviews, this will not be the company for me. I hope they change this!

My mother resides at Woodcrest Commons. We've determined to keep her at that facility at this time. It's very nice, and they're accommodating. The communication with the staff is very good, especially with the administration. They're very accommodating with calls and questions. They answer things pretty quickly. My mother said sometimes the food is good. I think it depends on how she's feeling that day, but it's OK. The laundry service definitely needs to be reconsidered as far as staying on top of the laundry for the residents. My mother's gotten stuff that's not hers, and I'm not sure where her things are, so that's been an issue. Her room is nice, and she has a roommate. It's a good-sized room, and it has large windows, so there's lots of light, and there's a nice courtyard by her window. It's a nice room. They have an activities room and a little store where they can buy things. They have movie nights and that type of thing. They have transportation, so they can go shopping and do those types of things, but with COVID, they haven't been able to do that in a year. You can't go inside the building. I had to just be in the lobby to drop things off.

My mother was accepted back in july 2018. Now they called me to let me know she has a delinquent rent amount mounting to about 7 thousand dollars. They change the administrator very frequently nobody can give you on time information and have no bi lingual staff to help with spanish speaking residents needs. Upon initial interview we where told once the Dr. Signs everything will be ok. Well it is not, we were never told she needed to call SSI or SS to have her income raised to pay for her stay, now we come to this unpleasant surprise that she owes all that money, in fact she can be evicted at any time right on Christmas. Very disappointed
