My mom has been a resident for a number of years at Windsor Chico Care Center. The facility is smaller which works well for my mom. The facility is clean and does not have an unpleasant odor that is common in some nursing homes. The staff is very helpful and caring. My mom feels very loved and safe!...
My mom has been a resident for a number of years at Windsor Chico Care Center. The facility is smaller which works well for my mom. The facility is clean and does not have an unpleasant odor that is common in some nursing homes. The staff is very helpful and caring. My mom feels very loved and safe! When I visit, the staff is always kind and respectful. I truly believe that my mom''s life has been extended due to the wonderful care she has received at Windsor Chico Care Center! It takes very special people to provide care for older people residing in nursing homes. I am so thankful and appreciative to all the great staff working at Chico Care Center!!

My mom just got moved there about an hour or two ago. The tv doesnt work, she cant charge her phone and gave her a pb&j for dinner. They also have a pile of dirty laundry sitting on the wheel chair at the end of her bed. I will be calling around for a different place.
The woman that schedules the visits is very bossy and can be quite rude, I do not appreciate being spoken to like I am a uneducated child. The facility is nice and is kept pretty clean. The nursing staff is friendly but they don''t communicate as well with the patients as they do with the family mem...
The woman that schedules the visits is very bossy and can be quite rude, I do not appreciate being spoken to like I am a uneducated child. The facility is nice and is kept pretty clean. The nursing staff is friendly but they don''t communicate as well with the patients as they do with the family members, please try to communicate with your patients better and answer their questions honestly. More one on one attention to the patients would be good also. The communicate and the rude visitation lady is why i give the 3 stars.

In the short stay, I watched my loved one be given the wrong meds and forgot about when they had to use the restroom, this was in the first evening before we said no more. This place should be zero stars and not even considered as a place of rehab or nursing home.
