We were not pleased with Wickshire. We feel that the staff here kept our loved one over-medicated so that they would be sedated and less of a problem. We were not pleased with Wickshire. We feel that the staff here kept our loved one over-medicated so that they would be sedated and less of a problem. When we said something was wrong to them - they blew us off all the way up until the time that they called the ambulance. We went to see our loved one and all of us knew something was clearly wrong. The hospital found that the medications had built up in our loved ones system. Then they would not take our loved ones back. When we expressed concerns about our loves ones health, the staff said they checked, but in truth ignored our concerns and did not listen to us.
Read moreThis is a small and cozy community. Everyone is very friendly and we have not complaints about being here. Its not a great big place it is rather small maybe 70 units but it is a nice community. We have activities like shopping, bingo, chair yoga and more for the residents to do.
