It''s good. My dad likes it better than the other places.

My family friend who is a 92 year old WWII veteran has been a resident for 5 months. He came from a very poorly run facility across the street. He was thrilled to be at a residential home that treated him like it was his home. Admissions staff, Wendy , was an angel. She helped us make the transition smoothly ,assuring Jim she would help with any concerns. He loves having a bigger room and bathroom because he is wheelchair bound. Transportation to and from the VA have been a blessing. The physical therapy staff is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. Jim had been wheelchair bound and is now taking 100 steps with a walker thanks to their help. The activity schedule is full of many options for residents. I visit this facility 1-2 times a week. I''m greeted by friendly front desk staff and CNA''s and RN''s. Anytime a small issue develops, I feel the staff works to resolve the issue while keeping Jim peaceful. Finally, the front room looks like a living room with piano, couches, fireplace, bird display etc. There is room for family to visit, attend church services , eat meals and feel welcome. I''m so thankful to God for the kind administration and staff. Jim is so much happier here.

Westridge Gardens is the worst place I have ever seen for care. The staff has shown to be incompetent in their work ethics. I was here for wound care, they had me on the wrong kind of bed for wound prevention. It takes a long time for someone to answer the call light. They fail to provide the proper amount of nutrition that someone needs to heal. They are incompetent in the wound care department, It has taken 2 days for someone to change the dressings on stage 4 wounds causing a reversal in healing.
