Westmont of Riverside was a very nice, very friendly, well-maintained facility, and that would be a possibility when we're ready. We went to the big multistory building, not the individual homes. It had beautiful grounds. It was a very attractive building. Everybody was very, very nice. In the dining room, there might have been 35 or 40 people getting a mid-morning snack or something, waiting for perhaps the lunch to begin. Everybody was very, very courteous and accommodating. Robin took quite a bit of time to explain everything and do the tour. We saw the two-bedroom unit and the one-bedroom unit and they're very attractive and very lovable. The staff was very nice, very friendly, and accommodating. We had a cup of coffee and a glass of water. We saw the dining room and the menu. She explained how the menus work, and the different choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It was great. They had a big covered pool, an exercise room, and a woodshop. They do various activities. They have bus service several times a week to doctor's offices, to a local grocery store, or to local shopping. They show a movie. They have large screen TVs on various walls in the facility, which tell what's going on in there. It keeps everybody up-to-date. We saw the calendar for December showing what they were doing all month long on a daily basis, which was nice because then you could choose what you wanted to do or just go down and sit in the chair and enjoy the sunshine. It's very, very nice. I was very impressed. There were lots of grassy areas and big trees. There was hardly any traffic on the various streets and roads that we drove. We drove through quite a bit of the complex just to see what was there. There were lots of walking paths. They have a dog park because when we do go to a senior living facility, we plan to take our dog and our cat.

I went to Westmont Village. I found it very clean. The only reason I chose the other one was because it's five minutes from my house. I liked all the stuff they had going. They had a little bit more to offer. The staff during the tour was great and he did a lot of follow-ups with me, too, afterwards. I don't remember any of the activities, but I like that they had a barber shop, a little cafe, and a TV like a theater and that type of stuff. I really liked it a lot.

Westmont Village was a beautiful facility. There were a lot of wonderful activities. It was like being on a cruise ship. The price point was just my concern. The staff was wonderful and very kind. The facilities were all acceptable. The common spaces were beautiful. The size of the individual room was just basic, but I think that's fine for most people.

Westmont Village looked excellent. The feeling I had about the place was OK. It's just when I went and visited, the residents seemed to be lethargic maybe. It was quiet and not very active. The rooms seemed kind of generic. It was just a basic room. The place was older, almost like a hospital setting, so we had to consider that as well, but the facility was really clean. It was just basically plain.

My Loved one moved there in December 2022. We moved her in August 2023. What we were promised at move in quickly went awry. Over those 8 months, there were 3 executive directors. You could NEVER speak to any of them. The staff turnover was a 24/7 revolving door, so when you tried to get ahold of any of THEM, you also never got a return call because there was someone new in the position. The dining options were horrid. Options were subpar in quality/nutrition. Every time you went to visit it was like a ghost town. No residents out of their apartments. So quiet. Our sister was miserable saying how boring it was there. No nice area to hang outside for fresh air. Only a couple of plastic chairs next to a makeshift ashtray for smokers. Lastly, they did not keep the room clean. We had to complain many times that it was like someone just walked in and waved their hand thinking that they had cleaned.
