There is literally no way to thank the amazing team at Western Hills for all their great care, compassion, and kindness towards my mother during her stay with them. It was a difficult process physically and emotionally especially considering her previous stay with another facility that had a very negative impact on her physically and psychologically. Slowly with time and love the staff was able to help her rehab physically and mentally. We both thanked them constantly, emphasizing how grateful we were and yet the words often did not feel like they could convey the sheer gratitude. This is a staff that really ''loves what they do'' and especially in a time where there are staff shortages everywhere, which they are also experiencing - on paper, however not in practice! Everyone pitches in and they day just flows naturally everyone is cared for and the joy of caring for them is obvious. With much gratitude and love for all of the Western Hills staff - I am truly blessed by your presence and compassion. Thank you!!!
Read moreEverything seems fine until you have a question for one of the staff. There are many very good staff workers who get lost behind the ones who are simply mean and demanding. An entire star came off of my rating due these angry people.
My neighbor was here for a few weeks and what a very clean facility. They took very good care of her and seemed to be well staffed. My dad was at the villa in lakewood and that was s nightmare. Good job Western Hills. 5 stars all day as far as quality of food and the care shown for the residents.

I have found that Western Hills’ staff is kind and welcoming, their facility is clean, and the management team is attentive and cares deeply for the residents’ needs and well-being. I frequently tell residents and the families I work with that if I had a family member who needed long term care, I would feel confident referring them to Western Hills.
