She was treated so well while she was here and she has had a good friend of hers stay at this facility as well for rehab. Not knowing who my mother was while she visited, the staff was kind and even offered her a complimentary meal for dinner so she could continue to visit her friend.

No human you care about should be placed in this facility! The staff is unskilled and the number of patients that the RNs are taking care of minimizes their effectiveness. My mother was admitted after surgery and was told by a nurse that she did not know how to change her dressing and the facility did not have the supplies. Due to their negligence, my mother''s wound became infected (her dressing was not changed for over 48 hours) and she had to be readmitted to the hospital. While in care at Wellbrooke CNAs left my mom on the toilet for more than 20 minutes at a time always telling her that they would "be right back." The lack of nutrition was shocking! My mother required a specific diet, but was told that there was not a way to accommodate her. She missed two meals because her paperwork menu was lost. Caution and close scrutiny are required if you are considering this facility. Calls to Shawn Dent, the Executive Director did not remedy any of these issues.

Although the facility newer and clean, I did not have a good experience with my wife''s grandfather. He was recovering from a head injury/surgery. He dropped 20 lbs in 3 weeks and then was deemed as "end of life" care. The last week we could not visit him because of a covid lockdown. We then took him to the emergency room to stabilize him (he simply was malnourished) and then he got mediocre care at best after being very adamant with the facility. He is now at another facility and is doing much better. As the other reviews have stated, if you have someone here you will need to give constant attention and not rely on the facility to provide attentive care.
