Experience Superior Senior Care at Walking Horse Meadows
It doesn’t take long to see that there’s something different about Walking Horse Meadows, an assisted living and memory care community in Clarksville, TN. It’s not just the gorgeously modern yet warm interiors, the small boutique setting and the resort-style amenities, either. It’s the come-as-you-are vibe, the friendly smiles and the compassionate staff who see this as a calling, not a vocation. They make sure that each day is filled with opportunities to discover new passions, find meaning and deepen connections with others. The goal isn’t to just pass the time; it’s to enhance the human spirit. Residents do this by joining special interest clubs, doing group exercises, taking classes and gathering for social events.
They also get out to explore the area, which is rich with activities and attractions. Clarksville, which is about an hour northwest of Nashville, offers McGregor Park & Cumberland Riverwalk, Beachaven Vineyards & Winery, Fort Defiance Civil War Park & Interpretive Center and Governor’s Square Mall. Tennova Healthcare – Clarksville and TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center are also within 15 minutes of the community.

My mother-in-law moved into Walking Horse Meadows. It looks clean and smells good. They have different activities daily there. They have a beauty place and a nice activity room in the front. The dining room was really nice. They are starting a library. The staff was very friendly. I tried the food on the first day, and it was really good. She says some of it is not as great as the first day, but they did have a really good salad last night. Her room is nice. It's a good size for her. We have to try and get her some seats today. They left us a little note for that. They're communicating decently. It's expensive.

We would recommend but we do know they are struggling with staffing just like everyone else. We do know our loved one is being well cared for.
Very much like the place and felt very much like the staff and facility cared very much for my loved one.

Walking Horse Meadows is very, very nice and very well kept. My wife's room is very well-maintained and comfortable. The food service is excellent. They serve very good nutritious food. The staff is very helpful, very professional, very pleasant, and friendly. There are a lot of activities that they work with the residents. They actually have a whole chart of daily activities for the entire month. So, it's very good value for the money.
Read moreWalking Horse Meadows is beautiful and clean. I would love to see my mother there. The staff was very cordial, nice, professional, and knowledgeable. I saw their cafeteria and dining room. I was very impressed with it. They had a courtyard and outside benches. They had a kitchenette in the rooms.
