This is a very long review. I had an extremely positive overall experience and will highlight all of the great things i experienced in the beginning of this review. It actually pains me that i cant give it 5 stars, if you want the worst of my experience you will need to read to the end. 98% of the CNA''s/Nursing staff are absolutely amazing...they are the ones that show up because they care and it shows...you all know how much I appreciated everything you did for me while I was there. The activities director and her staff go out of their way to try and make your stay here filled with fun and appropriate activities for everyone. They promote participation and genuinely want everyone to enjoy themselves. They provide actives for people of all ages. The nutrition staff is awesome but the food is sometimes lacking, that comes with cooking for the masses and trying to fit everyone''s individual nutritional needs. Physical and occupational therapy staff is awesome....they will push you as far as you will let them. They motivate you during every session and help you understand how even the smallest and seemingly insignificant movements play a significant role in your overall recovery. Case management is absolutely horrible. 1st experience I was rudely asked ''don''t you have any money?" After being told I had to leave when I physically could not move without help and a machine. 2nd time I was told I had to move rooms at first because of an open sliding glass door..which is in every room and all of them opened and most were. When I pushed back was giving another reason about infection prevention. Later find out it was actually because she was sure I was bringing drugs in through the glass door at night and selling it to other people. 3rd 2 weeks after my surgeon told me to go home and patiently waiting for the wheelchair I can take home I follow up an find out she canceled the request and I would need a new authorization from my insurance. The day i am leaving this woman did everything from holding my meds hostage , telling me there is no in home care in my area and trying to convinve the in house doctor I needed to stay (he asked me if I was homeless and when I said no he looked at her and asked her why are trying to keep her here if she has a home to go to?) I left on the 15th becauae i knew if i stayed 1 more day they can charge my insurance for a bed at $350 a day for a whole 2 weeks. If you have a loved one in any nursing facility please be their advocate there are a lot of people in places like this that can''t speak up for themselves and rely on case managers to help with getting the care they need. I know this was just my experience and every place and person Is different. If the nursing , activities and therapy staff weren''t so amazing I would.give it 1 star but all the other staff made these 4 stars possible....reasses your case management team and I bet you''d get more 5 star reviews.

The negligence & poor care that my uncle received is concerning.I hope they are shut down.

As my loved one called it, it’s a “snake pit”. Remember that this is a business, and while the nurses are great, the admin only cares about keeping someone in that bed for billing purposes. I can’t believe the run around that I got and the contradictions within days of speaking to the same person. My loved one is doing so much better at home. Getting physical therapy at home, getting care at home, and not being stuck in a wheelchair or bed for majority of the day. The facility is nice, but it’s all about the money and I experienced it first hand. This didn’t place a financial burden on us, so thanks for skating around the issue again.
